How to Cook Kale & Collards


Kale and other leafy greens are some of the most nutritious vegetables! We try to eat them 5-6 times a week:)

How to cook Kale and Collard Greens:

1 bunch collard or kale greens, rinsed, drained, and chopped finely. Remove stems if desired.

1/2 onion, sliced in rings or 1/2 cup chopped scallions

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 Tbs olive oil (optional)

In a large pot, add a small amount of water (around 1/2 inch). Add chopped greens, onions, and garlic. Cook on a high to medium-high burner till tender.
